FAQs about registration and membership in the LMC Vienna
Why do I have to register?
The LMC Vienna is a club and the HARD ON is the club premises of the LMC Vienna. For legal reasons, we are only allowed to admit club members to our regular events. However, membership is open to any adult man interested in fetishes. Registration is straightforward and there is no obligation.
Can I come to the HARD ON without registering?
No. Participation in our regular events in the HARD ON is only possible for club members. Counselling services such as the AIDS Hilfe Wien checkpoint in the HARD ON can also be used without club membership.
Can I also register directly in the HARD ON?
No. Registration on site is not possible.
Can my registration also be confirmed directly in the HARD ON?
No. Your registration will be checked by the board of the LMC Vienna. As long as the registration has not been confirmed and you have not received a membership card, a visit to the HARD ON is not possible.
Do I have to register for each individual visit?
No. A one-time registration is sufficient. Please note that we delete registrations that have not been used for a long time, or that registration as an international guest is deleted after it has expired.
How long does it take until I receive my membership card?
Registrations are manually confirmed by the board of the LMC Vienna. Please give us up to 72 hours for this. As soon as we have confirmed your registration, you will receive your digital membership card by email. Please present this at the check-in at HARD ON on your next visit.
What happens to my data? Is my data safe?
We do not pass your data on to third parties. Authorities also have no access to it. Even our volunteer members at the entrance only see what is necessary for admission control. Registration is carried out securely via an encrypted connection.
Why do I need a photo for registration?
We want to avoid checking ID documents at the entrance as much as possible - except for your first visit to the club premises. (Official photo ID, SVA card) The easiest way to check whether the person who registered is the person who is coming to HARD ON is to compare the photo.
Why do I need an email address for registration?
You will receive an email with a confirmation link during registration. It is therefore necessary to provide a working e-mail address.
Do I have to provide my real name?
We ask that you provide your real name. However, we will not normally carry out an ID check at the entrance. Your registration/membership is checked using the photo.
I'm not from Austria and only want to attend events for a limited time?
The easiest option is to choose the international membership. Registration is straightforward and there are no obligations. If you are visiting Vienna, want to visit us spontaneously and don't have a photo to hand, you can register as an international guest. This is possible for a maximum of 30 days and we require an ID card showing your name and the fact that you live outside Austria. For ECMC members, the ECMC membership card is sufficient.
I only want to attend a single event or just see the HARD ON once?
Please choose the introductory membership. Registration is simple and there are no obligations. If you have any questions, contact us.
I don't have a photo or email address?
We assume that the majority of our interested parties have internet access, an email address and a photo in digital form. An analogue form of registration is not offered. Just ask a friend to help you!
When does free access apply for standard membership?
As soon as we have received your annual membership fee, your membership status will be changed. Until then, if you visit HARD ON, we will treat you as an introductory membership. Fees paid for an introductory membership cannot be credited towards the annual membership fee.
What if I have forgotten my membership card?
We urge you to take your membership card with you every time you visit HARD ON, even if they know you. We have to check the membership of every club member and if you have the card with you, it only takes a few seconds. If you do forget it, we can also find you under your name. However, we may ask you to show ID.
Can I pay for my consumption with my mobile phone, ATM, credit or debit card?
No, only cash is possible.
